Make A 7.3 Dump Smoke

i have a 95' 7.3 stroker and what all do i need to do to make it smoke? bu

 

On my 96 I put on a 3 inch down pipe 4 inch exhaust and gutted the cat, Also added an edge evolution tunner, Truck smokes big time now.

 

Simple add fuel:stir: .....

 

With all due respect, but why would somone want to make it smoke? Smokes means not effectively burning the fuel. Basically, smoke = poor mileage. Witht he price of diesel nowadays, less smoke means better fuel economy. Anyways, just my opinion.

 

I wil say smoke is a good show once in awhile but smoke is like said before, unburned fuel which is less power out of the engine which is less poser down the rest of the line...You want a show or do you want performance?... waytogo

 

If you want smoke add a chip or tuner, an Edge evo will do the trick but all you might get is smoke and little power increse, some trucks would run fine and others like my 96' just smoked and gained little power. Baisicly get a custom tuned chip( 6po) so you can have a smoke show when you want it.
And one more thing, if you want really big smoke just add really big injectors with a stock turbo and a huei pump with a lot of miles on it. BIG TIME SMOKE,the kind that will get you in trouble.:stir:

if you dont want to up the ante too much step on th fat pedal bout halfway then floor the skinny pedal like you're gonna spoolup at the tracks
but WATCH YOUR GUAGES!!!!!!!! too long (5 seconds after th smoke comes) and your trucks in danger because its under a load and a stock truck cant take quite the beating a 'built' truck can

 

lol this is a stupid questin but what in the h@ll is a "HEMI PUMP"

 

It's not "HEMI" it's HEUI. It stands for "Hydraulically Actuated Electronic Unit Injection". The fuel gets pressure from compressed oil, not a high pressure injection pump like the cummins and duramax trucks.

 

I would recomend any of the Edge chips or programers, I've had nothing but problems with mine and two of my buddys ahve had the same issue. I would say that out of all the programers and ships I've used and seen I would buy a DP Tunner you have to go with manual guages cause it dosnt come with a fancy display but DP Tunners is cheaper then most out there and works awsome, I'm selling my Edge with Additude to buy a DP this month, and for your smoke question DP if has a program file thats just to make SMOKE!!!! haha
