Manual tranny available with 05 Duramax DRW?

    Picked up a few brochers at the dealerships today and was browsing through the chevy one and read this in the Duramax 6600 V8 (auto. and man.) specs section:

    After all the listings for the 3500 DRW under the Duramax 6600 V8 (auto. and man.) section was followed by (auto./man.), the SRW did not have this so looks like maybe the 6 speed man is avail with a Duramax if it is a 3500 DRW??

    When I was looking at the GMCs you could get it with the D-Max so long as you didn't want the SLE trim, IE the one with all the goodies on it... You do get the patented Frags-A-Lot™ flywheel though.

    Yep, I wouldn't recommend a handshaker with a Duramax. They derate the power of the D-Max with the manual as well. Something like 80hp less than the Allison.
