is this a good screw around shot gun? home protection is covered... lol i guess this would help. but im looking for something that i can skeet shoot with on a fun level. no pro stuff here... yet... i know its a protection style gun, but 8 shots is more fun than 5 when shooting skeet... lol 200 dollar shot gun... cant be all that bad can it?
I have a few Mosbergs... and any shotgun is fun to shoot clays with. I was the only guy who brought a pistol grip 18" barrel 12 ga to shoot clays at the last guys day out I went to.
I have a 500 and love it I did take a look at a Maverick the other day and it looked to be a good unit.
well... MSRP on the Maverick is 199.99.... the used 500 with extra barrel and shell holder was 199.99... so, you can guess what i bought here it is! Mossberg 500. the little barrel is a slug unit. ill be purchasing the shortest barrel i can and a tube extender. maybe even a pistol grip with stock... i guess it starts somewhere... lol
yeah, i just wish i could have shot it already... lol im going to get a tactical barrel for it as well. only 80 dollars. thinking about a pistol grip stalk as well... we will see on that one though... my next firearm will be a Baretta 92fs, or M9 as we call them. ill get the M9 because it costs less and isnt going into production anymore... then my 500, then my kimber... then... lol
