I pre ordered one of the brand new Juice modules with Attitude monitor for my 2nd gen 24v. This is a brand new box that is just NOW hitting the market, and is even barely in the warehouses across the country.

According to Edge this is supposed to be a kick butt module, identical to the comp as far as programming but is capable of working with both the Attitude and A2 monitors. With this there are a bunch of features that other Juice modules for the other years and brands have had, along with some new features that only the 2nd gen 24v trucks get, like turbo timer, fuel pressure monitor, and a few other small odds and ends.

Should be here Monday, I plan on getting it in as soon as possible with plenty of pics and how I like it.waytogo Thanks again Jason at www.dieselnutmotorsports.com for your help!

I finally had to go down to the UPS warehouse to pick the stupid thing up myself, since they for some reason couldn't manage to get it to my house.

The install looks fairly strait forward, but is also a fair amount of work. I was hoping that the Juice somehow read the fuel pressure and tranny temp through the ECM....nope, sensors have to be installed.

Oh well, I will be installing it tommorrow.

Got it in today, took about 2.5 hrs. I am fairly impressed with it, I like all the features of the attitude addition. I am still trying to get all the presets adjusted.

My tranny seems to not like level 4 and 5 much, very disapointed.

dont worry my new and 'improved' 48RE doesn't do any better but its still cool to have the extra power.

I've already talked to my local tranny guy. He said he left the line pressure not real aggressive so it would be a little smoother. We are going to bump it up, and it that isn't enough he is going to exchange my single disk for the triple disk version. The internals seem to be doing great, holding well and I can't even hardly get above 160* oil temps in town empty. It's just my lock up that is having a hard time with all the torque from 1,600-2,300RPM's.

A shudder at part throttle. It doesn't shudder at all under WOT on level 3, level 4 and 5 will though. I obviously don't have enough line pressure at part throttle to hold the converter. I am pretty sure I am going to try out the BD pressure lock and then if that still isn't quite enough I am going to swap the single disk converter for a triple disk. It's still new enough that my trans guy said he would credit me back on the single disk.

Quick question.. on the first power level of the comp/Juice with attitude how does it compare with the Edge EZ? Is it equivalent?

Yes, the settings are relatively the same......Edge advertises 40 hp for level 1, but most guys report the same performance from an EZ (60 - 65 hp) as they do an untapped Comp in EZ mode (equivalent to level 1).

I thought it was level 2 (60HP) that was about the same as an EZ, or the box untapped. I can't hardly feel a gain on level 1, and barely on level 2. I run mine on 4, 5, and 6.:stir:

so do you get the gains of levels 3+ from a tapped comp? What would be better to do first, stage two injectors from DTT or the juice?

What are you driving? H.O's like injectors and S.O's like programming. With either engines, I'd still take the Juice. More power, more adustability, and you can remove it fairly easy.
