Dad told me I could go get that old trailer we had on the farm that was being stored behind some local friends place. Well, I got it, thats about all I can say. It was home made to haul a big water tank. Dunno what I am gonna do with it. Ideas?
I was thinking of leaving it when I had figure out how to jack it up higher to make it reach my hitch. The axles look "decent" but not terribly heavy. Too heave for a sled trailer and not heavy enough for a car hauler. Maybe use them to make a mobile RTI ramp or something.
Straighten up the fender weld some steel plate to the inside of the fenders for mor strength and put some more plate over the holes in the foor and you should have a descent utility trailer. Maybe install some stake pokets so you can build some removeble sides for it. Then it could have a hole variaty of uses. waytogo
Take the rubber off and get it to the scrap yard - take the money for the steel. These days, it's more useful there! waytogo
The trailer is gonna get scrapped and the axles/ suspension are gonna be used in the 4 place sled trailer I'm gonna build in the next couple months.
