local parts house is napa.... anyone think there will be a issue with warranty (injector, injector pump) using the napa gold filter?
My understanding is, the NAPA filters are made by WIX. If the stock filters are close to the same price of the NAPA. I would by the stock one, just for argument sake in a warranty issue. Otherwise they (NAPA/WIX) are good filters.
napa gold filter my local dealer wanted 27 dollars for a mopar oil filter. found a fleetguard oil filter for 6 dollars. fleetguard is a company of cummins, and the mopar filter is just a fleetguard filter painted gray with the mopar on the side. i've used the fleetguard filter for 6 years and haven't had a problem. i also use the fleetguard fuel filter too.
mrgenz waytogo I use the k&n performance gold and redline fuel additive ,I buy this stuff on line from xdp diesel power,it's pretty cost effective, since there's no fuel burned to go get it,the shipping is free over $50.00,and no sales tax,the price of diesel going up everyday,a man's gotta do what he has to do.......... 07, 5.9, 3/4 ton,six speed,2wd,air raid dry filter w/tube,dr performance module-85hp,cat delete, aero turbo muffler with resonator.
