I'm needing to replace my rear rotors and pads. I was wondering if I should pursue aftermarket, and if I do, how easy is it to change them myself. Thanks in advace for any info.

just had my brakes done at the dealer. lifetime warranty on the pads....so if they wear out dodge replaces the pads and you pay for the labor.....

So does anybody have any experience with an aftermarket slotted or drilled rotor? I was considering changing them myself and using the money I save on that for some better rotors. I pull up to 15000# on a regular bases, and my brakes see a lot of use.

If you are wearing out rea brakes and rotors then you have bigger problems that need to be addressed. I have 90k on my truck and only replaced the rear pads because they were at 75% and I had already brought them. I have however replaced the front rotors and the front pads 2x.
