has anyone seen this new intake? i know wilson makes high quality drag race manifolds, nice to see them coming over to diesel now. it looks like you wont be able to use the intake air heater anymore though. how important is that air heater anyway? living in ohio it gets cold and stays that way ! i would like to get it for my 2004.5 w/ auto. since this is also my daily driver should i get this one or one that retains useage of the intake air heater? whadya think?
Air heater is pretty important... there is no way I would remove the grid heater on my daily driver. Besides... a race intake manifold will only really make a big difference if you have a very high power truck, i.e. a drag truck or sled puller. No reason to waste your money on a part like that unless it is a race truck.
