jumped over from CK5 - planning on getting a diesel soon (dodge or gm - maybe ford) are all the early 07's (5.9,6.6,6.0) carry overs from 06? in other words - none of the new emission stuff. I know this is newb and probably pretty obvious - but thanks for the help
as far as i know the dodges and fords have the emissions stuff on em now and not sure about g.m., theres probly quite a few new pickups without the emissions at the lots still 06's and such, im not possitive i havent been to a lot for a while
I know the early 07 Dodge Ram still had the 5.9 up until the 1st of the year then they switched to the emmisioned 6.7, but like was said there probably are still some 07 5.9's on the lot.
I talked to the local Dodge dealer the other day, and they said the early 07s still had the non-emissions 5.9 and he thought people were gonna buy them up quick. At the time, he said they could not yet order any new trucks for some reason, but Im not convinced that is true. Seems like Dodge would be loosin a lot of business that way. Also, the Ford dealer we are currently in the process of buyin a work truck from said the early 07 Fords we were still pre-emissions which is good cuz the rebates are way better. He also told me that Ford is already done producing 07s and is currently gettin started crankin out 08s.
