Installing a Blumenthals unit this coming week. Willing to sell the one currently in truck, plus my back up. Come drive the rig before it goes to the shop Monday evening. One in rig is a bit finicky shifting when warmed up, back up seemed to have lost 3rd and 4th, but once out it seemed to have them. Also, willing to part with my semi custom SB clutch. Transmissions asking $2500 each and $700 for the clutch. Could deliver unit(s) within a days drive for a small fee. (702) 498-1368
what are the specs on the clutch, hp rating, single or dd, what shaft size, n if 1 3/8 what would be needed to put into a five speed. thanks
Single disc, good for 550 HP and 30k# towing. If trying to put into a 5 speed (4500?), guess you would need a new disc, this one is for the 5600 (10 spline IIRC). Just put a dual disc into the rig today, now I have 2 clutch set ups available, also have the original Sachs set up from my getrag when I did a 4500 conversion on my '93. Where are you located?
