Anyone know where to look at an 06 order guide with RPO codes etc.? Online somewhere or do I need to hit the Stealership?
Don't just go to the dealership but look on-line at the build-your-own features on the Dodge website. They have pretty good details of all the options available. Once you have a decent idea of the options you want you can use the online features to get quotes from the 4 or 5 nearest dealers. This will get you in touch with all either the fleet managers or the on-line sales department. This is the route I took and the Dodge Fleet Manager here (Salem, Oregon) was great. I got a great deal and got everything I wanted. I did everything on-line and by phone over the course of a week. I was at the dealership for an hour the day I bought it. My fleet manager knows trucks and understand towing, farming, slide-in-campers, commercial use, etc... Most dealerships also have their inventory on-line so its easy to look without getting the sales pitch. Don't just walk in and talk to any sales guy, they will try to sell you something on the lot that day. And if you belong to Costco or any credit unions look up if your memberships offer any benefits. Don't forget to ask about getting the spray-in-bedliner done as part of the deal. Might be cheaper then aftermarket, but is done by the same place.
Steve, pm tomeygun on TDR. Or get him through http://www.newdodgeorder.com and he can get you 10% below dealer invoice, you just have to go pick it up at his dealership. He can probably fax you a list of every option/package available so you can read through it all. Real nice guy.
Set him an email on Friday but haven't heard back yet, maybe I should send him a PM through TDR and get a list of all the option codes?
