i bought 4 SRW Brentz wheels 19.5 inch rims today... i did get a GREAT price and Brent is a GREAT guy to work with. once they get here and i have decided on what tire i want to run i will get some pictures of them up.

cant decide on 245's or 265's....:doah:

**UPDATE** well i decided on the 265's... and as i suspected they rub a little bit. i will be buying the leveling kit from daystar next month. they dont rub too bad, but enough to make me bothered....
so, here they are. i did not get polished because i am still thinking about painting them black, BUT them match the truck as they are.... so i dunno yet...

and i still VERY much want to. i did some math and this will keep me safe.

in the long run i am going to move up to a medium duty. keep this truck as a bit of a toy and a mediul to small weight tow rig.

the one person who had a DRW axle setup with 4.10 that was willing to trade was very sketchy. i belive that persons business will suffer n the end because of it as well, but brown stuff happens. i would very much love to make this truck a dually using the megacab fenders. i think it would look cool as all hell. it would go with the paint and look that the truck over the next few years will gain.

half a dozen in one, 6 in the other.

i have decided on the 265's as well. i know they will fit as they are about 2 inches narrower than 315's and about an inch shorter. since i used to run 315's on stock rims i know all will be well. it will also give me the same contact patch in a tire that is just as highway friendly as the current michelins i run.

in theory i should loose a bit of in town MPG, but should gain a decent ammount on highway. since most of what i do is highway driving, all will be well.

the safety factor is the big one for me though.

Medium duty trucks seem to be gaining more and more in popularity and if I had the money I might just get one myself

medium duty trucks can be had for great prices in the used area. an F-750 with a cummins cost a bit more than a 3500 of any brand. they also look much like a regular truck in most aspects.

that just might be my option when the time comes. a brand new f-750... with 19.5 from the factory.... lol

excpet when it coemes to liscensing them!!!! they will make a guyy who does not use it for work or have it plated as a "rv" go broke. in IL it would cost about $1,200 a year to plate a air brake f750.

I had 265 yokahama's on my 2003 DRW. Lifted 2" front and rear and a steel flatbed. It looked like a dodge version of the F550. Infact, i even had people argue with me that the truck wasn't a 1 ton but a 2 ton, and had one service manager get all pissed because he didn't know that pakage was available yet!!!

Oh, and my 19.5's used the stock center caps, so it looked stock.
