Ordering a new rig...

    I haven't ordered a new truck before so have a few questions, do you have to have a price hammered out at the time you order and do you have to put any money down at the time of order?

    The price should be agreed upon before delivery, whether a deposit is made or not is up to the individual dealer. Post up what brand you're going to get though, I have tricks on how to get the best deals from when I was shopping...

    Just try to go through Fleet Sales for your order. It saved me about $5000 off of retail.

    Agreed.. If you can, talk to someone in fleet.. I know I was glad I knew the fleet manager at my dodge dealer.. got about 13k off thier asking price becuase of that..
