i know some guys that have been having problems with their edge juice w/additude modules and it makes me think twice about getting one but i havent ruled it out, i still need to call edge. but anyway what other stuff are yall runnin, i need gauges and something that has them built in would be a pluswaytogo
I run Autometer (FP & Pyro) guages in an A-pillar pod. I am running a Smarty for power adder right now. I will add some more later but for now this setup works great for me. Harley
TST PowerMax 3 is a popular chip, and stacked with a Smarty is insane. Either one is a great start, just remember the Smarty fuels hard down low and doesn't do much on the top end.
The TST can have a couple of guages. Another one is a Blue Chips FMS, or Redline box. The Redline box flat out "gets-r-done!"imp: The Juice can't be beat when it comes to guages, you are able to flip through something like 20 different parameters. I haven't had any problems with my Juice and don't know of anyone else that has.
The Juice is a great chip as far as value, bang for the buck. It runs pretty darned good. The TST is a little more adjustable, and makes a little more power, but has no timing, which is why it stacks so well with the Smarty. The TST is available with no gauges, Boost and Pyro, and Boost, Pyro, and trans temp.
What is funny, is some guys have claimed that they made the most dyno HP with just a Drag Comp alone, even against a non comp TST/Smarty stack, and made less with a Comp/Smarty stack.
On stock injectors possibly. The thing is that the Smarty does a little more timing than the Edge, and the TST has more adjustments to it, so when running bigger injectors an turbo(s) you have more control over the system and can dial it in for the sweet spot easier. Also, not very many people are aware that the TST has a competition upgrade similar to the Drag Comp upgrade.
currently Smarty and HRVP.......ghosted the stock clutch exactly 4 days after the hotrod IP went in. looks like twins and some mach injectors are going to be next on my agenda.
