Went to fill the truck up this morning and noticed the O/D light was flashing on the shift lever. As i was driving i noticed that it was shifting harder then normal. It wasnt slipping or doing anything else out of the ordinary. Just shifting hard and the light was flashing. Going to go get the codes checked later and hope it isnt anything too bad. Any idea's on what it might be ? truck is in sig below
OD light Man I hope it doesn't mean what it did in my 96 Sable. When I had it checked they told me my trannie was going! Guess what, 2 weeks later the trannie quit trannien!
Well so far so good. the shop cleared the codes and all seems to be fine now. We test drove it with the scanner/computer he had hooked up to it and all checked out pretty good. I just hope it doesnt do it again.
