Looking for this so I can trade a guy for some parts I want.

    What all do I need?

Where might I find them if no one has any for sale? Banks? ATS? $$$?

    Thanks!

    Interested.

How does a Turbo 6.2 compare to a TBI 350?

Adding a turbo to the 6.2 is an nice kick in the ass. The 6.2 is no beast, but with a turbo and a little more fuel it really isnt a bad setup. I will direct my friend to this post and he can let you know for sure about the price and get you a phone number to call.

FYI, the prechambers in the heads will need to be changed for the turbo.

I had a 92 6.5td and blew a head gasket. I ended up getting a set of rebuilt heads. The water jacket bypass tubes were installed in the heads during rebuild. I had a 1 day delay on delivery because the heads that were in stock had non turbo prechambers in them and had to be swapped out before they sent them to me. Thats how I found out. Also you will need NEW head bolts, or you will be replacing the head gaskets shortly down the road. I went with the fel-pro headgaskets. Put over 150k miles on it afterwards, plenty towing and its still going strong. I sold it last may, had to many vehicles to keep up with.
