Alrighty folks, I am looking for some more fuel mileage and power for my 06 Dodge, dually, 4X4. I already have a stage two intake made by AFE and a MBRP dual 4" exhaust. I also just put a boost fooler made by Quadzilla. Thing is that I cannot decide on a brand or a make for a computer tune. Edge, Banks, Bully Dog or who? I also want guages to be available and would like to have the system defuel for me. I don't always look at what is going on if I am towing a load. I am too busy checking my mirrors. I used to have a Bully Dog down loader and the Outlook monitor which I liked but things have advanced now and I am wanting the best. Soooo, what do ya'll recommend? I know that I will have to take the boost fooler off due to most of the products that I am looking at also plug into the map sensor so no big deal there. Thanks in advance, LT.
For built in gauges and defueling, I think Edge Juice and Quadzilla would be good choices. I think they both have cold protection, meaning they don't bring the power on until your motor is up to temp.
TST R-49 with gauges (boost and EGT only) Or Go with the TST without gauges (can’t remember the number) and do a quadzilla commander. The commander is compatible with the TST and can control it plus the commander can monitor up to 7 or 8 different functions, show you up 4 of them at any time and it can be set up to defuel you (so can the TST by itself though). Thanks for the help ya'll. I am leaning towards the Edge because I only would have to deal with the one company. I am also looking at the ATS Diesel air intake manifold. I know that the CFM+ is going to give me more use able power but I want the ability to go to water meth injection later. LT.
Okay now I am really intreasted in the Bully Dog PMT. The reason is that I like the look of the multi-colored screen and touch screen. I had the Bully Dog on my last truck and I really did enjoy all the featrues and extras. Let me know what ya'll think? Has anybody else used the PMT? LT.
