Here ya go folks. if ya have any questions or input lemme know. i will be making the front of the box a lil more aerodynamic.... and i was adjusting the toung height in this pic, it sits level on the truck now. Grant
26,000 CGVWR and like i said... im working on the aerodynamics. gets 12 mpg the way it is now.... Grant
the only thing i need to change and will be soon is making the truck a dually. it handles the weight JUST fine and i have PLENTY of stoping power. i had them build the trailer with all 3 axles as braking axles. also i have the Jake Exhaust brake and with the brake smart the thing stops just fine. i was in two "NEED TO STOP NOW" situations in the past couple months and it locked up the rear axle for a second then released and i stoped in plenty of time. had room to spare to be honest. in that picture i had let the air out of the air bags and was adjusting the hitch height. it makes it look like it is sitting WAY low, but it site level as can be with 25psi in the bags, just enough to let the weight set on the overloads and level the truck out aong with the trailer. as for the box its basicaly a rolling mechanic shop. all of my tools and my engine hoist/stand, a nice work bench. im building a bed and some more storage bins inside of it. as desk will go in tere as well. i need a couple larger tool boxes as well, but that will come in time. ill be out that way this month.... moving the GF from oregon to thatcher... going to TRY to swing by marv / robs place, but it will be mid week... i would like to introduce her to a few people in the area so if she needs some fab work she has a couple contacts. her zuki is awesome, but as with any custom built rig it has its issues now and then. with school and maybe working she will already have her hands full and i dont want her to be stranded if i can help it. should be in the area..... around the 14th... plus or minus a day.
