   Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what kind of amps a block heater will draw? Wondering about using a portable genny for powering it. I rarely use the block heater but like to know what my options may be. Thanks.

   I believe it pulls 1000 watts, so less than 15 amps....I think.
   I must have missed school that day.
