Who has them and what kind do you have? Do you like it? Am thinking of buying an Edge with Attitude, also want to put on 4" Exhaust but the exhaust pretty high, wonder if it is worth it.
I run Edge/Attitude with stock trans and stock exhaust. Run unloaded in Lvl 4 with no exhaust problems. Run level 2 loaded to 15k gross and no problems. I have the EGT limiter set at 1300 so it keeps things from getting out of hand. Never see it go that high unloaded even on level 4, and that's the highest you can reasonably go on a stock transmission. Loaded on Level 2 will go into the 1200s on a long grade in OD, but it will drop right down if I let it shift down out of OD. If it stays long in the upper 1200s, I always drop it down even though 1300 is supposed to be safe. <shrug> It is also said that the stock DMax exhaust itself is works VERY well with only a muffler upgrade. In fact, I've heard more than once that there is very little improvement going from free flowing muffler only to 4" tube + the same muffler. I was going to do this to mine, but don't want to take a chance on the "straight through" muffler sound being too loud. Not worth it since EGT has not been a problem.
