I have the 5.9L 24V. Driving along at 50 I sudenly loose power. I can maintain speed but can not excelerate. If I slow down to 40 I can maintain 40 but can not excelerate. If I hold the pedel down a bit, all of a sudden it takes off. It does not do it all the time. I am getting a PO216 code. All the book says is it is a injector pump timing circuit. I had just put in a oil pump because the outer rotor of the pump broke in three places. When I had the cover off I checked the gears for timming marks and were all lined up. I had this problem befor I changed the oil pump. I have also changed the transfer fuel pump and filter. Could it be the cam posision sensor. I hope it is not the injection pump.
