I think I remember reading somewere about Durmax's power steering pumps haveing a noise issue once warmed up? Anyone recall what the fix is for that? My durmax has 30K on it now and after being on the hwy fer a while when I get off the hwy and start turning thru town the p.s. pump moans and sometimes I can feel it vibrate the floor? I checked the fluid the first time I heard it and all seams fine? It has been doing it now for about 3K miles or so... Ideas? Stealership visit?
Thanks BadDog I went over to TDP and did a search on PS pump. Looks like alot of others have had a similar noise and there is some that had a 'valve' changed and others that get the noise when breaking. I guess the hydroboost has to do with it too cuz the Ps pump supplys that too. My noise is only when turning after operating temps are up to temp....MOST all others get the runaround from the dealerships..no surprize :doah: now that I am at 30K I prolly should take it in for a health check and whatnot.....
