I would get rid of emission stuff,

but I like the fact they are as clean running as gas engines.waytogo
    And I'm getting 20 M/gal in winter ...I think it's great.:)
Can't wait to see the summer mileage....?
I would consider a tunner but my truck has a manual trans....
Maybe after 100000 miles I will think about caning that emission stuff.

If you are getting 20 miles per gal. thats awsome. My 6.4 was only getting 10 on a good day untill I did a dpf delete now I getting around 20mpg and putting over 500 hp to the ground and around 1200ft lb of torqe. The only downfall is I have 4:10 gears so at high speeds my rpm 's are high which kills my fuel mil.

yes any tuner will help you and manual or auto will work. The question is how much you want to spend. My first tuner was the edge without any dpf removal. I did see a little mpg increase and some power increase. But having a bud that a diesel nut we had to get more power. That is when I found sparten diesel with there dpf delete kits and I don't regret spending the money.I also installed intake and water/meth. kit to keep temps down while towing. But where does it end, is there ever enough power when towing? lol

I guess no bad news is good news for this motor. How does it seem to compare and run? I know there is a little delay off the line but other than that any issues for those that are stock or semi stock and driven easy? I'm in the market and holding out for the 2010 or maybe wait and see what all the hubub is with the so called scorpion....
