Will the LED only light up if you have a trailer connected? My old one (Hayes) the LED would light any time I pressed on the brake. My Voyager doesn't. I don't have my trailer handy to check it so I was just wondering...

Yes, the Voyager will only show a light on when the trailer is connected.

Cool thanks!! Guess I have to wait until I get my trailer back to check everything out.

Just hook a test light to the ground and batt. wire on the trailer plug, iit should make the light come on.

I also was wondering if any of our three Voyager equipped trucks were wired correctly since the light wasn't on. (we had bought all three trucks within a few months without hooking any of them to a trailer) I think it is a good idea. The box doesn't need to draw any amps or wear out the light when the controller isn't needed anyway, makes sence.
