When you plug in the trailer in to the truck is the light soposed to glow green, because mine is not lit untill I step on the brake and then the light illuminates. Every thing else seams to work ok. thanks Ray.

Thanks for the link. It seams as though I should be able to activate the trailer brakes by the slider alone, which I can not, I first have to step on the brake pedel to activate it. The truck came from the factory wired for the tow package, but bolth trailers Ive pulled I have done the wiring my self, but every thing seems to work fine, The grounds for the brakes are grounded through the plug on the negative. Mabye its a faulty controler?
Huh...You should be able to apply the brakes with the slider alone. Try calling Tekonshas tech line and see what they say.
