Rokkteck sensor?

    so i was reading in a different thread and i was wondering what it actually was and if it is actually worth buying? any info would be appreciated.

    It is a crank sensor that has been taken apart and reassembled so when you install it you get about a 2* advance in timing for better egts and mileage. Great mod to run with something small like an Edge ez or something that doesn't do timing or alot of timing. From what I hear it works great on a stock truck too.

    ahha so if i have an edge juice it probably would not be the best mod for me?

    I put one on my 06. I took it off. It didn't do anything for me. My conclussion. A waist of money.

    I have been hearing more and more of that with the new trucks, but have been hearing it works great. I wonder if its just a production tolerance thing or what.

    As for your juice, you could use it, it would just advance your timing 2 more degrees. Seeings how you are already doing timing, I would save the money for something else.

    just modify the tone ring for the same results.... i still need to do that as well.. LOL
