    Yeah, 42hp out of a motor that's 6 inches long and 6 inches in diameter is terrible! :doah:

    Diesels are efficient, rotaries are efficient, this seems like a great idea to me. waytogo

    Yeah, I thought that was pretty wild, that size would be perfect for my son's Power Wheels Jeep. :pimp:

    I didnt say it wasnt efficient, i just said it looks like it wouldn't be.

    Back in the 80's John Deere attempted to develop a 400hp rotary diesel called the "score" (IIRC), in conjuction with Lycoming, the aviation engine manufacturer. Needless to say, it was a failure, it just didnt perform well. When i have time ill see if i can find some information about it, i know ive read about it before.
