It's in the $80's here but there are counties in this state where it is just $46. I wish those counties had places that could pay a decent wage, if they did I wouldn't put up with all the crap around these parts.

Ya'll go it good. I sold my 2003 3500 flatbed because the Califucya vehicle code says anything over 10,000 gvw with an aftermarket bed has to have -

    Commercial insurance ($1M liability)
    Motor Carrier Permit ($125)
Register with CA DOT :)eek: )
Have to stop at ALL scales loaded or empty :)mad: )

Oh, and the insurance, was another truck payment. Screw this state.

I pay about $30 here, I'm stationed here in Nebraska in the Air Force, but I'm still an Illinois resident. So I don't have to pay the property taxes on my vehicles. If I was still in Illinois it would be about $80 a year for each vehicle.

If you tow any combination trailer and your GVWR is more than 11500lbs. your hit with a terminal inspection, 400 bucks and 100bucks there after. I was just notified by CHP today that I had to write a check for 400bucks for this inspection. I love this staterotfl Are other states doing the samething?
