Sled Pulling

    I don't... but I would do it once just for kicks...my truck doesnt have insane power like alot of these trucks... but after watching the pulls at LACR I realized that alot of the success comes from how you apply the power not how much power you have. We all know that haveing 800hp is no good if you cant put it to the ground. :doah: So if the opportunity presented itself I would try it once waytogo

    in the next year or so i will try. i got a old truck from a farmer who said when i am ready he will give me a spot in the fair sled pulls as he is head of the fair board.

    truck is 77 k301 ton 4x4 std cab long bed with 37k origanal miles on axles/frame .

    specs will be 5.13 gears locker rear possible front locker. 454 tbi with 4l80-e/205 . all this threw groundhawg tires.

    I do sometimes but its with a John Deere. There's nothing like spending a sat. night in the boondocks at a tractor pull waytogo

    manual trans

    i see alot of manual shifters with a splitter button does that mean they have a gearvendor or is that a split rear:confused:

    more likely an exhaust brake, PacBrake or BD or Jacobs, ect.
