As of now my mods are in my sig. Iv been thinking about getting injectors prior to the chip because ill get the "check this out" syndrome and probably brake my trans with a comp box on 5 blowin smoke. I figure if i just get injectors ill be stuck in one performance setting. I use my truck for DD'in and towing my wheeler 6000-7000lbs.

Will i be loosing any millage between the 2 and 3?

Also If im spending the money should i just go for the stage 3's?

I will add this, I recently replied to another thread that with the stage four jammers I got an extra 3 mpg, actually it was more like four, I went from 18 to 22 on the highway but I posted a rather conservative number before. I don't know if you see those kind of gains with other injectors or not.

Thats a huge incentive for me to buy injectors i would like alittle better fuel milage. 70% of the time when i hop in my truck im headed for the highway.

Still no feedback on what stage injector to go?:dunno:

I wish I could help you more there, one of the reasons I asked those guys to replace the stage 4's with 5's is because I just assumed if I got such good milage with 4 I'd get even better with 5???? But then I had someone in a different thread say that the five's may be a bit much for towing and I wondered why but never got an answer...maybe it's a heat issue. So if you're towing the size may matter and you may want to research a bit further.

you can tow with a 150hp injetor or bigger if you want, you just got to have the air to support it and that would definitly take a set of twins or a large single. for the milage factor, it take a x amount of fuel to make that pickup move and it dont chang eiwth the injector size.

Easier to put more heat through the motor, and bigger holes in the nozzles doesn't mean even better mileage. There is a point where stuff gets too big to have good efficiency.

Thanks, i was leaning towards 2's but iv been going back and forth on which ones to get sence i looked at doing injectors.

On DDP's online store they claim better millage out of the stage 2 (2-3mpg) where as the stage 3 (1-2mpg). Dont know if that 1mpg will be noticed but i figure go for the best mpg you can right?

your goin to have to travel a lot of miles to notice a 1mpg difference. now i am not saying that the stage two's arent any good, what i am saying is once you get them in you are always wish you went bigger. but the up side of getting the stage two's is that you can probally run them with you stock turbo for a long time and not have to buy a bigger later on or head stus. i get along good with the 100's as long as the box is turned down to 1x3 or 2x1. do what ever you feel cofotable with, cause its your truck not ourswaytogo
