Alot of you have custom rides and even some of you have a nice stereo and a custom setup, wether its a sirus or XM radio to huge subs in the trunk, most of you got something. List what you have and a picture if you can.

i have a kenwood deck, that i dont fully like, with Sirius and all stock speakers i replaced with heigh end kenwood speakrs... the problem with the dodge is there isnt much to get the heat out fo the dash... so the stereo starts to sound like crap on a 2+ hour drive with the heater on...

the kenwood deck does some funny things i dont like...

future upgrades will be 2 12" subs and a 6 disk changer... some day...

I currently have a Jensen flip-out DVD player, upgraded all the speakers to Fusion "PowerPlant" (mid-level), XM radio, soon i will be molding my 2 12" Fusion subs into some sort of box that goes under and accross the front of the back seat... oh, the subs will be powered by a 2000W amp

Here is the setup im probably goin with instead of the 4 12s:

It is a box already setup with dual subs, cost about $600. It is the MTX Thunder7500 Sledgehammer Subs

And there is also the amp that im going to get: 800 watts; Thunder High Performance Amp[IMG][IMG]

sure there is just hook up an amp that pushes 3 times the power the stock speakers can hold and watch the cones fly across the room( downside is you can only do this once)waytogorotflrotfl

Kinda sucks to waste that much money and there are alot of things great stock i.e. high end sports cars from Italy. Something I like but will never own and most dont have that sounds of a hot V8 I like to hear.

ok, looking at Subs here... 2 ohm or 4 ohm? enclosed or ported or bandpas box? what works best for our trucks? i need some bass... but dont need to wake the dead. thinking of two 8 inch or 10 inch subs.

what kind of amp do i want? crutchfield is running kicker comp series for buy one get one free.
    http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vZh2O4xfog8/app/product/category.aspx?c=3

i would like to take advantage of this. but what would be a good amp to run with my head unit for a speaker setup like this? i would like to put them in the "storage" spaces in under the back seat.
my head unit now is a kenwood KDP-532u, and the 4 factory speakers have been upgraded to kenwood but i dont recal waht model. they are a mid to higher end speaker...
    HELP!!

I like my TMA's they sound good for 10's not sure of the watts im pushing to them. my friend runs the stereo shop so i just told him make is sound good. Im lookin forward to gettin the 12's in the other truck and see how much better they sound. those will be alpines, the 2500 will be a compleete alpine system. I like my TMA amps and subs but i just want a to have it all the same for some reason.
