Sorry guys I know this is a dumb-ass question and probably self-explanatory. I have an 85 f-250hd ext. cab with the 6.9 and an auto, and has anyone ever ran one at the track in somewhat stock form? mine only has aftermarket exhaust and a shift kit with 4.10 gears. i just got back from Iraq and i bought my truck from my dad so i havent had time to really beat the hell out of it. i was just curious. i went from an 82 F-100 stepside with a 393-stroker kit to my 85 diesel so it sure is an performance change.

I appreciate the feed-back. I figured it would be like low 20's, but obviously a 21 year old N/A motor is'nt going to be like a Cummins or PSD with some Banks performance parts. Youre welcome for the service to the country. But now after two 1-year deployments to Iraq, I now know why it isnt on the Travel Channel. Aight, take it easy man, talk to you later.

That will put ya right up there with the old VW Golf. I saw a guy make a pass in one at New England Dragway years ago. He ticked the lights at just under 22 seconds.

Diesel 101, Banks isn't much to look up to.:stir:

It will be fairly slow in the quarter, my neighbor has the same truck and it does ok but it isn't a racer. Probably somewhere in the 20's.
