ok this all probably wont be put together for like 2 years because of the $$$$$$ but here is what i want to do/what i have done total Super b turbo 100hp injectors straight exhaust triple dog programmer head studs pyrometer, boost gauge, tranny temp CAI Intake Manifold Water/Meth i also plan to run either a suncoast or BD tranny Have i left anything out? i know i need a fuel pressure gauge will i need a new lift pump too to run the injectors? also any odds ends that i have left out (im trying to procrastinate studying for exams and im sick of seeing my injectors thread on here as the last thing haha)
I don't know about required... but I would just pay out the extra few hundred for a FASS or HPFP since you have already invested so much in the truck. I'm sure you are putting quite a bit of strain on the stock unit w/ 100 horse injectors and a chip...
Super b turbo - Too small. You will need to seriously consider twins. I would say put the R700's on it. 100hp injectors - Actually, they are 90hp, but close enough. You will need a CP3 pump to push them. Industrial has their new Dragon Fire CP3 that should feed those plenty straight exhaust triple dog programmer - You can see how it runs, but most likely you will wind up swapping for a Smarty with the TNT or TNT-R programming to maximize what you are building. head studs - Oh yes, and consider doing valves springs while you are in there pyrometer, boost gauge, tranny temp CAI Intake Manifold Water/Meth i also plan to run either a suncoast or BD tranny - You are going to want an HTS. The BD will not carry a warranty as you will be over 450hp and while Suncoast builds a decent unit, its more spendy, and I feel the HTS will run better. I would also consider an intercooler, like the BD unit. In this allipcation it is not so much for the extra cooling effect of the intercooler but more for the extra amount of air flow. The BD unit is better than the stock unit in both cases, and that will help you take full advantage of what the turbos can do. YES you will need a lift pump. I am thinking a FASS 95/150-1008 should do it nicely. Just remember you have to pull the tank to mount the draw straw.
ok so if i toned it down to 50hp injectors would i have to do a new injector lift pump and turbo? (if i ran water/meth)
I would do a lift pump, II bag of Parts (mod for CP3) and turbo will need some attention. The stock turbo is just not well suited for the extra power. not only will you overdrive the turbo, creating an excessively hot charge, but the exhaust housing is too small and restrictive to flow enough exhaust gas.
i think im just gonna buy the tranny and then wait like 30 or so years till i have the funds to do the compound turbo and the 100 hp injectors sooo am i going to need the input output and intermediate shafts? and what TC would you reccommend
Are you capable of doing a rebuild yourself? All the shafts require transmission disassembly of some sort. If you are going to tear it down, might as well put some new clutches in. Converter, well, we have our own line, that have been working awsome, and have used Suncoast extensively, so recommendations are based on your needs. Input for sure, output if you want to play in 4WD. Leave the stock intermediate alone. You better put a flexplate in while its out.
ive been quoted 4K on a transmission with TC VB new bands etc and input and flexplate know anyone that can do any better?
