The new A2 generation in dash controller for the Juice modules has hit the stores. The best part about it is there will be one for the 2nd gen 24v trucks! Not only will the A2 GPS enabled controller be available for us 2nd gen guys, but instead of it using the Juice module like all other models, I have been told it will be teamed up with the more powerfull COMP box!!!!!imp: It will be released on the first of the year! I recieved this info from a 4wheelparts employee this afternoon. He said that was all the info Edge had released to them, I just hope it's all true. As soon as my warranty is up it'll be an Edge DRAG comp and A2 controller for me!waytogo
I wish they would come out with one that integrates into my factory Nav stero, now that would be the ticket.
Oh yeah, you have the factory navigation system. It would probably be not worth it for you then right? The attitude sould seem like the ideal setup? Since you already have GPS and obviously don't need it on your pillar too.
The A2 is not a cheap upgrade. On the current run of juice modules its listed MSRP is around 1500 bones, as opposed to 900 for the atitude. But, it will probobly be a popular thing, I know I would get one except for my TST. Just a lot of coin to me.
Well, we'll hopefully find out what it costs in about 5 weeks. I originally was told that the A2 would be paired with the current Comp box but now I hear a whole new Juice module will be out for the '98-02's now. I am hoping that they will have a hot juice because I'm afraid the Standard Juice will be a lot less aggressive than the Comp, just like it is for the later years. I want the GPS, back up camera, and ease of install without having to mess with the guages.
