Came out friday evening to head out to find 1/2 tank of fuel missing. Fuel guage is working right. Least they didn't drill a hole in my tank or cut the filler neck. The truck was parked in my driveway at the time.

Welcome to the club. They empied my transfer tank last week of 60gal of Red fuel. At 3.75 a gal it hurt. I had to install a kill switch inside he cab to prevent this agian. I was parked out side of the local Homedepot when It happened.

I wish our courts would start cutting off the hands of thieves instead of rewarding them.

One of the first things I did was get a Locking cap. You can get one at Genos Garage at www.genosgarage.com

My 26 gal aux has a locking cap on it as well. I just recently bought a locking cap for my wifes car from checker auto.. Gas is gold now!

Some one came up between my house and the neibors and emptied 80 gallons of race fuel out of his toy hauler, haha running jet fuel in the car or truck that they put it in probably cost them alot more then they thought when it burned that motor up haha

80 gals of race fuel is not cheap, I run a 50/50 mix in my chevelle. I thought a locking fuel cap. Being my truck sits so high, they can easily drill a hole in the plastic fuel tank and get it.

Exactly why I decided not to get a locking cap. If they want the fuel, they will get it. I rather be missing fuel and have no damage to my truck.
