My truck came with 285/75r16 and I like the look on the truck but I was wondering if there would be any reason to down size them?? Mine are dry rotted and need to be replaced. I have been looking at the Michelin LTX MS and I think they are the tires I want, opinions on them??
    Thanks

I have 265/75/16 Michelin LTX M/S tires and like them a lot. They wear excellent, are quiet, handle good, and are very smooth. The only thing is they catch small rocks easily and sling them after speeding up. Most tires may do that though, I'm not sure since this is the only set of "normal" tires I've ever had. ( My K5 was my first vehicle and has always had Swampers).

I'm either going to get the same Michelins or Cooper Discoveries next time.
