    I recently purchased a 1993 GMC Vandura.
It has a bad transmission and undrivable

I own a commercial tow bar that I has frame connectors for a 68-74 Chevy Nova.
I am wanting to fabricate some frame connectors for this '93 Van to mate up to my existing tow bar.
I was thinking of a piece of channel with holes drilled in it at the same spacing as the OE Bumper.
This channel would have mounting lugs that would mate up to my tow bar
I need to know the dimensions for the holes on the bumper mounting bracket
My plan: Take out the driveshaft; take off the bumper; using grade 8 bolts, bolt up this channel; then my tow bar, hook up and take off.
I have about a 340 mile trip, all interstate, mostly level through IL and IN

My question to the group: Does anyone know what the dimensions, hole size, spacing, etc...for a Full Size GM Van?
I have been unable to get the owner to perform this measuring for me.

My 1981 J20 3/4 ton pickup is my tow rig.
    It has a strong AMC 360 V8, 727 Torqueflite tranny, NP219 transfercase.
It's Dana60 rear axle and Dana44HD front axle are sporting 3:73 gears.

I've towed with it before and it's a great tow rig. waytogo

What I enjoy most is the bulletproof 727....no overdrive to mess with!
The 360 has a Summit 8600 cam and topped with a Edelbrock intake a carb, all breathing through a Flowmaster Series 40 muffler.
