I have a question about the wiring under my dash 2007 mega cab, I was going to put a trailer brake controller on my rig,the one i bought has a ford connector on it, the wires are different color than the ones plugged in under the dash and the ones under the dash are not labled, anyone know which wires are what??

I'm assuming you dont have the instructions. Google the make and model, inquire about wiring and you should get results in the form of a wiring diagram and instructions. You can also pick up a harness that plugs into a harness connector (green in color I think), near or behind the emergency brake pedal. The harness can be found at the dealer. I did the same thing,as my last truck was a Ford with PS. I took it out of the ford and put in my Dodge, but I also had to research the wiring online. Hope it helps.

E trailer.com sent me a wiring diagram through an email that showed me what color wire went to all my connections, thanks for your reply though, Monte
