I feel pretty confident about the tranny in my dodge. However, in the back of my mind, I know that the edge juice chip that I have installed can't be good for the life-span of my tranny. When I somehow stumble upon the funds to upgrade my torque converter and valve body i plan on doing it. What brands do you all think are the best? Or do I need to buy something else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, there are a few ways to go.

The cheapest route would probably be BD's torque converter and valve body. The only drawback is that their parts are not quite as stout as some of the other brands. But, thats probably not an issue since their stuff is rated at like 500HP. I plan on going with a DTT or maybe ATS tranny.

DTT is very popular and even a little cheaper than ATS, but not by much.

hmm after looking at the DTT website i think im gonna end up going with them...

i know that my truck would probably be a bit faster if i had a performance torque converter because i know the stock dodge ones arent that great. and if i get a nice torque converter i can safely use the higher levels on my chip without breaking anything and hopefully beat my current 1/4 mile time of 15.373
