    First of all, Welcome to the site.

    Second of all visit the user CP page and make a signature with stats on your truck. This will help us to know what exactly we are dealing with and help us to accuratly diagnose the problem.

    Third of all, did you read the codes with a scanner? I read the one my truck was putting out and it was like a PO2036. were there any more letters or numbers in the sequence??

    Thanks for the reply!

    Codes were read off of the CEL. The list I have for the codes is
    31 = EGR control Vacuum too high.
    32 = EGR circuit fault.
    33 = EGR sensor circuit high (low vacuum).
    78 = is waste gate solenoid fault.
    I should point out that the faults seem to occur when the pedal is unloaded; ie: when holding speed without much pedal pressure 10 or 20 seconds pass then on comes the CEL. Acceleration will usually turn it off, as will deceleration sometimes.
    Any thoughts?

    Unfortunatly I dont have much experience with the EGR systems. Your truck has the "S" engine (8th letter in VIN) where as mine is the "F" engine. the "S" engine uses an EGR system to control various engine functions where as the "F" engine does not. Although I would like to keep all of the tech here on this site... we unfortunatly dont have many 6.5 owners on this board yet (its only a few months old). So in this case I would say try http://www.dieselplace.com for more info. Sorry I cant be much more of a help, but be sure to stick around and post up some other questions/comments in all the forums on here.
