new to this so be gentle. i have an 05 2500 4x4 with the airaid and mbrp ex now getting ready for programer. which one would be the best for me i don't do much 4 wheeling but do pull a 34 foot 5th wheel up and down the eastern sea board. been thinking about the edge a2?
Flordia, eh? My grandparents live in Lake Worth. I haven't tried the A2 yet, but it looks really cool! I have installed a Bullydog Tirpple Dog on an 04 Dmax and it worked great!
If you have the money, I'd get the Edge Juice and A2. I'm waiting for it to be released for my year. It looks pretty darned good....
money i do live in fla but right now in atlantic city nj working. can't wait to get warm up here. and yes i do have the money am single lol. but have to spread the money around for the other toys and single girls
I would pick any thing but the edge.I have it on my 04.5 and had nothing but trouble with it. I even had it upgraded to the hot edge and that was even worse.I don't know what you should use just don't waste your money on that snake oil with a fancy screen they call edge.Just to note edge has worked with me over the last year to try and fix there product.That is the only thing I like about edge.Good luck with your choice.
am back had the wheel house windows blown out and lost computer. i have been seeing better deals on the banks lately they must be going out with some new still can't make upp my mind on which programer
Strange that "the Edge" is not working for you. What is going wrong? There are various systems for the DMax that are better in one area or another, but the Edge/Attitude is generally regarded as the best, most balanced solution available for the GMs. I can understand that they may not have the same ranking among Dodge owners, but would be surprised if they are not at least competitive. Just curious...
Maybe all this stuff has something to do with his problems. Hot Edge With Attitude,80 HP Injectors,2 Piece E.M,Intake Manifold,Intercooler,Propane Inj,BD Super B Single Turbo,Air raid air intake,4'' Exhaust. Is the Edge designed to work with these mods?
Its not that it wasn't working with all my mods it did just fine when it was even working.It would get stuck in levels our switch levels by its self or just shut off give wrong readings and it did not work like edge said it would.All these symptoms were evident in all the different ones they sent me.The only thing that I like about Edge is that they worked and stood by there product and after a year of this they refunded my money.I am not the only one that this has happened to I know 5 people that are getting rid of the edge.All are cummins owners.
I have an Edge Juice w/ Attitude on my 2005 and it works real good. The only problems that I have ever had with it is that it turns the check engine light on sometimes (but it turns off after a couple of days usually) and the egt gauge started freakin out when I was towing to Utah (about 7 hours into it). But other then that, the thing is a lifesaver when you have an urge to go faster waytogo
the original post was a guy looking for a programer.i would suggest one with a monitor or add some gauges
what am trying to find out is which programer i should get do i need the a2 or just a programer with gages all i do is tow my trailer around for work and tow my bike at times the a2 looks cool but do i need it
i got the smarty because i like the feel. i make a 500 mile weekend trip 30 times a year, so i like the fuel saver mode. but i also pull a 32' toy hauler every weekend in a motocross seires. the smarty makes me smile daily when cummuting to work. also they don't have an edge w/a2 for my truck.just don't buy something then buy bigger later that cost to much i have heard of a lot of guys doing that with injectors
