I have an '06 f350 drw. Can anyone tell me about a gear splitter that may work? I pull a 14,000# 5er all over the country. I'm looking for better pulling in the grades and fuel economy when empty.

Both the Gear Vendors and the US gear are great units. I believe the US Gear can be fitted to mount either behind the t case or between the t case and transmission. That was why Rick went for the US Gear on the F550/Cummins project. He can split and still use 4wd. Now, his truck came with 4.88 gears, so he went for an OD. Do you have tall enough gears for an OD or are you looking at an UD?
