I am looking at getting a set of seat covers for the new Gmc 2500HD. I have been looking at the wetokole cover but they are pricey. Are they worth the money. The say they are waterproof and they look good in the pictures. Does anyone know of anything better. They do need to be waterproof and allow the functions of the seats to work. Mainly the seatbelts since they are built into the seats. Thanks for any and all help. I know the okoles were like $500 for the front and rears. That is a little expensive but willing to pay the money to keep the seats new. thanks again

Last time I put a seat cover on a seat to try to protect it the seat cover tore the thing apart... Modern fabrics are pretty durable, if you keep them clean they can take an awful lot of abuse. Unless you're going to be getting in the truck covered in mud then I wouldn't even bother. Just my 2 cents...

I wish it was only mud LOL. I have two smaller children and just driving around town it isnt bad to say no food or drinks in the truck but we go on a long trip it isnt fair to them. I called wet okole today they have them with a lifetime warranty ($12 a section to repair/replace). They are $512 dollars shipped and that includes the head rests and the center console to match. It is expensive but I think in the long run it may be worth it. Also another concern I have is the map pockets on the back of the seats. In my van the kids unknowing to me used them to get in the van and apearantly a footrest. I have been careful to make sure they havent done it yet in the truck but it is only a matter of time before they do and rip like my vans did.
