Go to CORE on Saturday. They are having the Mudstock Charity Event to raise $$ for St Judes Research Hospital. Going be finishing my tranny swap in my my K5 I got Thurs & hopefully start on the lift/axle swap. Optimistically gonna try to have it road ready by Mon night All I gotta do is finish the tranny/t-case swap, do rear shackle flip & zero rates, install 14BFF, install front srpings, install D60, put on 38's and start cutting sheet metal. No much left to do :doah:
Hopefully getting quite a bit of that installed, along with the detroit in the front axle. Cant do the rear because the install kit got backordered.
Working....I'll be on my ATV all weekend chasing irrigation water like every year this time and stopping washed out squirrel and goffer holes.....o joy. :doah:
I am rebuilding my D60 and 14FF for my K5 and parting a little . All this around my wifes graduation.
Installing 56s up front and crossover, and well drinking then probably more drinking then feeling like ass tues. :doah:
We went to the local camp ground and listen to a band last night. Drank way too much beer too be getting up at 2:00 a.m. On a postive side, I'm packing today for a much desevred four day vaction in florida. We're leaving first thing monday morning I haven't had four days off in a row in two years, just one of the joys of farming.
Just got home from a weekend out at Temple Bar,AZ, and Lake Mead.. Hauled the jet skis out there, stayed with the parental units in thier 40' diesel pusher for the weekend.. that AC sure is nice when its 110 out! Played on the wter all weekend with the jet skis and the ski boat, then I hooked the boat trailer up to the tow rig, and hauled the boat back home for them today, and they'll be coming home sometime tommorow with the MH and the jet skis. It was a 4 day weekend for me though I left Thursday.. Its good when dad owns my place of work, and I manage it.. I like being able to tell people Im leaving Scott
