Where did you mount your brake controller? I have mine under the dash, where the PO mounted it and it is a major pain to adjust in city traffic down there.

    Steve,

I have mine mounted down by my left knee. It's also a real pain to see and adjust. Once I got mine adjusted just right. I took some of the wife's nail polish and make witness marks on both sides of the controler, so I don't have to mess anymore when it's totally loaded.

In the cubby hole on the dash. Very clean and easily accessible.

Mine is also over my left knee. Not a big deal and easy enough to adjust (digital) no more than I need to do it. And if I do need the manual apply, it's easily accessible.

Where did you mount your brake controller

I have mine mounted under the dash on a plastic trim panel under the steering column right by my right knee. The location makes it very accessable for on the fly adjustments.

mine is centered between my legs. i bump it once in a while. not that much now since im used to it. i very rarely have to adjust it. the Brakesmart is nice for that. i adjust it once on hookup IF i hook something up other than my GN and then again when i go back to the GN.

im taller than most, and people a lot shorter than me have to move my seat back when they drive. i sit very close, but like i said, its muscle memory for me to get in and out and not bump it.

    LOVE the brake smart....

Directly below my steering colum on the edge of the dash frame. Really the only spot without much effort. I can see and reach it fine, so it works fine

My prodigy is located on the right side of the SC just below the dash, it works fine there for me, easy to adjust, etc.

On the left side of the dash above my clutch pedal. I hit it with my foot when getting out every once in a while, but that was where it was mounted when I got the truck.

Just below the fold out ashtray/change collector. That places it just outside my right knee and very easy to access.

Mine is also under the dash, just centerline of my left leg. Not sure if I planned it this way or not, but I can see mine where it is mounted and can reach it fairly easily if I want to change the output signal or put on the trailer brakes by themselves (something I've never had to do with the F350).

Down by my right knee. No problem there, even though I'm 6'8".

Here is a pic of my brake controller with the Comp mounted under it.

I find it easy to reach the controller and Comp while driving.

Mounted just to the right of my right knee. Almost in the center of the dash, that way if something were to happen the wife can reach it from her seat in an emergency.
