I've got an MBRP B&B Eliminator on my 800 Polaris Escape, sounds bad ass. imp: I've wondered the same thing, their diesel exhaust is a very nice setup, but very expensive. I think I am going to go with the Flowmaster system myself. $400 vs. $750 for MBRP.
he he, but i got 4 inch from the factory... imp: i was looking at thr 5 inch setup, but i think i will end up just removing the cat and going to an aeroqup muffler in place of the cat then maybe no mufler and shorten the system to in front of the rear wheel with a turn down. ill use mostly the stuck tube, so if its to loud then ill just change it back or get a new system. i have to use a 4 inch to 5 inch step up at the turbo due to my exhaust brake, but thats what they come with anyway... so all is well grant
1.Yeah, but it's not all aluminized, still has to be chopped up to add aftermarket mufflers/deleting, and probably doesn't provide the flow that a good atermarket kit provides. 2. No offence, but I think it's retarded to dump the exhaust in front of the rear wheel with a diesel powered pickup. Reason is I have seen almost every one with a black rim and tire, and if it's chipped up, a nice black lower bed side and bumper. Dump it out the back or go with stacks, don't look like a goober and turn the side of your truck black. rotfl
MBRP for $750 is the pro series (304 stainless) the xp series is less money than the flowmaster and uses 409 stainless. I have installed close to 50 of these and hands down think it is the nicest exhaust on the market. Weld on hangers, 1 piece tailpipe/tip, exact fit runners, and true 4" downpipe. I have also installed flowmaster, magna flow, banks, bullydog, diamond eye, afe, TST, and problably more that I can't think of and none come close to mbrp. If I had to choose other than mbrp I would go with banks or magnaflow. As far as the factory 4 inch exhaust, it is fine just please get rid of the stock turbo and do not run it out in front of the tire, yeah it looks cool but sounds terrible and make a mess, it also wears out the rear tire in a hurry do to high heat and if you have chrome wheels you just wasted a bunch of money. The hot setup we are doing out of the shop on the 600's is leave cat, add aero muffler with the s-pipe and you have an exhaust that will handle everything you can through at it. The 5" exhaust doesn't cool any better and we have see 0 gains on th dyno, but it is quiter when towing. Mike www.DunksPerformance.com
