Replaced the fuel filter the other day and I can honestly say I can feel the difference, not major, but noticable. It was the first replacement from the one that was on it from the factory, I have 13,000 miles on the 06 now.
I wonder if the original was a little clogged or something??

Maybe it collected a bunch of junk. How did it look when you took it out?

I get free oil changes from the Dealer so I just had them swap out the fuel filter at the same time so didn't look at it. Keep in mind this was the original filter when the truck was built, maybe just a slightly defective one, who knows.

Maybe a bit of marginal fuel. Or maybe there was a little trash in the tank when built? Either way, I always notice it seem to be more responsive after I change a fuel filter, and I change mine more often than typical using Wix filters. Who knows, it may even be psychosomatic...

First corse of action for low power output is check the fuel filter. If it restricts the flow, it will hinder performance. Before the FASS I always kept an extra with me just in case.
BTW - Don't buy em from the dealer. I sell em for half what the dealer charges.
