I need some new workboots to get me through this winter. I am not going to go through another winter of cold wet feet from California boots. So what are your recomendations for boots?? I want something comfortable, warm, and water proof. I dont need steel toes. I dont want to spend alot but quality is worth money in my book. TIA

I LOVE Redwing Boots. I own 3 pairs. My winter pair that I bought for North Dakota last winter were 11" pullons with 400gr Thinsulate Insulation. They were steel toe which didn't help but they still did pretty damn good with a heavy wool sock in -25* temps. They make boots with more insulation but I am a huge fan of pullons so they are the boots I got.

I will personally never think about buying cheap boots again after wearing Redwings. They are not cheap but they are VERY comfortable and worth every penny and more IMHO.

I got a set of Brahma steeltoe logger boots at Walmart for $35.00 and they've done just fine for me. You should consider looking into them.
