Change the oil as needed, I'd go 7-10K with normal conditions on Petroleum oil. Up to 25K with a premium synthetic. Drive it and enjoy it.
What are some of the characteristics of the hotrod VP44? I have heard lopey idles among other things. How much power increase over a stock pump?...
That or just turn off your box if you don't have injectors or anything. Shouldn't smoke it out at stock power.
Bring some cash and the title is yours!:D All we use it for is a fuel wagon. That tank that is on that trailer is now in the back of the pickup...
We have 15 OTR trucks all with stacks and many of them pull tall trailers and/or tall loads. I'm sorry to say yes, they smoke out the trailer....
Lets not be silly here people, they don't need big heavy diesel pickups and SUV's. They're Crown Vics work just fine, and pull hills plenty fast.
Right on, thats what we need. I think E85 is a great plan. We can cut way back on foreign oil and put some money back in the farmers wallets!...
Are you sure this is correct? I thought it was the other way around. The reason I am asking is because I may do the BHAF mod here soon.
Hmmm..... that can be a toughy... My guess is the PO raced it around and was shifting hard and fast through the gears. I hear this is hard on...
Rear disk brakes instead of early year drums....
If the 2001 is a 2001.5 then definantly. The 01.5's are the cream of the crop for 2nd gens, and yes I'm biased.:D
Your stocker may be able to handle it for a while, but it varies how hard you are running and what power levels you are on. A South Bend Con OFE...
Yeah, but it's got that goofy top cover....
Good to see BD making products for the 6.5.
I'm sorry, but I have to say no way. There is no way a lowely 350/650 could do this. It take nearly double to even have a chance of really doing...
Then that would explain it.... I don't know why I said a P pump motor, since it's a VE valve cover....:doah:
I would be your TRC post whore....:D
Leave 'em in their patrol cars....
What you need to find out is the spline count of both transmission's shafts. As far as the shaft length, usually the adapter makes up the difference.
It's the pump clutch kicking on, and is especially noisy the first time when it's cold. Why this is, I have no idea.
