Anyone use the stock hx35 exhaust wheel and housing mated with the hx40 compressor wheel and housing? A buddy of mine works at a turbo overhaul shop and says they've got all the gear in stock to do it, I've just got to find a core 40. I'm just wondering how it would run EGT wise with a slightly modded truck (00' 5.9L, 4"mbrp, afe stage 2, edge attitude, fass fuel system)
Well nevermind. Just took a trip over to high tech turbo and checked out their 35/40 hybrid kits, I'm gonna do some more research before this mod takes effect.
